If you are cutting it too close to beat the two-week pre-registration deadline, you are probably better off just heading over to the registration cage after you get to Vegas.

But go the night before, I would not wait until the morning of the tourney.

You have to add $15. Here is the email I got last year.

Thank you for your interest in the 2010 World Series of Poker!

We received your pre-registration form and wire, $15.00 short of the $1,000.00 required for Event #54B. This may be a fee from an intermediary bank that your bank uses to get to the United States. Each institutions fees vary, so I cannot provide a fee schedule. Please check with your financial institution for intermediary fees.

Please send the additional $15.00 to us via wire, and we will complete your entry.

If you register the night before, there's no way you'll be locked out for that event. I would expect the largest fields would be in the 1k's, with the biggest being on July 3rd. I doubt you'll be locked out of that if you register the night before for the 1k.
The 1k has sold out many times in the past, do not wait until the last minute.

Like DeadMoney also mentioned, the $10k is not a "limit", it is just an amount you have to let them know about when you cross the border. Any monetary funds including cash, cheque, money order, etc. Just declare it, fill out the forms, and away you go.

I have not gotten any emails, and have checked the spam folder as well.

Good stuff. In case someone else is going to wire the money...

Long story short from yesterday with my bank trying to confuse me: to make it easy take both the wire instructions form AND the pre-reg form to the bank. Also it doesn't matter the SWIFT code shows a NY bank address.

WSOP preregistration already emailed today saying all is well with the information entered.

My wire was 10 short paid it at the cage and registered. Td Canada trust uses a third party which takes $10 fee. Everything was good with the information from the WSOP info
