| Last Satellite To The 2010 WSOP In Bolton
Saturday May 1, 2010 at 7:00pm
PM me or reserve your seat here
MINIMUM of 10 players needed to make these tournaments happen. Someone will win a seat to either one of the $1000 WSOP Events or $1500 WSOP Events, depending on the number of players in the satellite.
Here is your chance to go to The 2010 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas for $150 US Dollars.
Rules for this tournament; The usual rules that we have been following for all Orangeville Poker Tour Events in addition to the following;
1. Tournament is in US Dollars since you are winning your buyin into a US Tournament.
2. The goal is to get 18 players to be able to give away a $1500 seat plus $1000 for expenses. This can be adjusted depending on how many players show up. Also with The WSOP scheduling six $1000 dollar events we can give away a seat to one of the $1000 events instead.
3. The following payout structure is based on 18 players 1st - $2500, ($1500 will be held back for the tournament buy-in) the rest of the payout structure will be dictated by how many players come out, with 20 players 2nd place will get $500. There was 9 no limit events at the 2009 WSOP. Once the schedule is released for the 2010 WSOP, winners will be emailed and get to choose which $1500 event they want to play. Then we will pre-register each winner for the event that they choose. The WSOP usually runs from the end of May to the beginning of July.
4. This is an equity tournament. Any winnings (only that after 30% tax is taken. $5000 and up gets taxed) from the WSOP tournament will be divided amongst the players that were in that particular satellite tournament. 75% to the winning player in the WSOP, the remaining 25% divided evenly amongst the players from that tourney.
5. All players will sign a contract at the beginning of the satellite tourney in attendance agreeing to these terms.
Tournament starts at 7:00pm, doors open at 6:30pm

| OK so I have to ask out of curiosity... Where are all the poker players?? This is a poker forum, yet there seems to be a complete lack of interest in playing this tourney or in any of the past ones that have been run. I am not trying to insult anyone, I am just baffled that on a poker forum we cannot even raise ½ dozen members who would be interested in playing in this. In all seriousness, can someone tell me what the disinterest is in this? |

Some may have insufficient $$$ for the buy-in, may not have interest in playing the WSOP ( ), might be playing without talking about it here, who knows?
Just spit-balling, no real info. I have thought about taking a shot, but have not come up with a valid reason to set fire to the buy-in, but that is just me . . .

If you want to your shot Milo you know that we would love to have you.

What do you dislike about the equity part? When Steve and i first set this up, i thought equity part might actually draw more players out.

Regarding the equity part, i'm just greedy and want the whole thing. I don't mind swapping %s once in a while but i'm just not into the giving away %s of yourself.

13 players are confirmed for this so far.
This is a pretty good way to win your way to Vegas for The WSOP.
