No, the TD followed the correct procedures and I would have made the same ruling. The same thing happened at Point Edward Casino and the supervisor on duty made the mistake of not making the river card the turn card, but after I informed her about the usual procedure and she researched it during her break, she agreed with me. The TD should have shuffled the K back into the deck before re-dealing the turn. Come on, I thought everyone knew that
/g2 | With currently nine WPT finalists left, I recognize four of the six biggest stacks as Canadians, so
GO CANADA GO!

Not sure if this was posted elsewhere ....
First Place: Glen Witmer, $1,254,152 CAD
Second Place: Gavin Smith, $612,427 CAD
Third Place: Kathy Liebert, $319,337 CAD
Fourth Place: Ryan Fisler, $ 262,469 CAD
Fifth Place: Marc Karam, $196,851 CAD
Sixth Place: James Trenholm, $153,107 CAD
Glen Witmer was a real estate agent in Kitchener-Waterloo for a long time. My Dad called me excited as he is apparantly friends of our family. Guess we can add Witmer's name to the long list of success stories from KW.

Somebody told me that I was mentioned at PokerRoad Radio, so I searched for it. I met professional Bill Gazes (ex-husband of Kristy Gazes), who has won a couple of million dollars in tournaments including a couple of WPT final tables, and we chatted during the long round-trip walk between the WPT area and the cage near the poker room. I busted a player in seat 6 and Bill moved to that seat late in Day 1a and we were involved in a couple of hands. In one hand, I made a turn bet and he grilled me, trying to get a tell, then eventually folded.
A friend who participated in several rake-free satellites and won the $10,300 entry was eliminated in seat 1. Little did I know that the new player who was moved to that seat was one of the few WSOP gold bracelet winners in the NAPC; otherwise, I would have folded my AQ pre-flop against him.
At the 66:15 part of the radio show, they mentioned me. The bracelet winner said that I kind of overplayed my AQ and he had KK. Bill then mentioned me and joked:
"I want him exposed here. He's a local. He's a nice guy for the first 11 hours of today but then he beat me in a big pot, and now I don't like him. I'm shopping for barrels for him. I wanna send him in a barrel over the Falls tomorrow!"

He said something like a guy named Buddy, but then when he said about "I wanna send him in a barrel over the Falls tomorrow!" I thought no way it could be you.
