I am going to Atlantic City for the first time to play in Event #4 of the Borgata Open. It is a $1500 +$100 event with 12,000 in starting chips and 60min blinds.

Just wondering if anyone here has been to Atlantic City and can tell me what to expect from The Poker, The Casinos, and The Overall City?

Well where to start....

The Borgata itself is beautiful, and the women working there are even better. The rest of AC is pretty dumpy in comparison to Vegas. A lot less choice of games, besides the Borgata, The Taj and Showboat are probably best for cash games. Don't venture far off the Boardwalk late at night alone. Driving time is about 8 1/2 to 9 hours from Toronto west end. Good luck and take it down Steve..

Atlantic City is the only place I've seen any one arrested "COPS style", throw on the hood, held down, etc.

When I was there my friend and I got a players club card that allowed us free parking at the casino so we parked there, but our hotel was just outside the city so we just drove in for the day.
