Thanks DJ..I think I missed a couple of opportunities while we were 9 handed..once I folded 55 when the big stack opened to about 2/3 my stack..thought I could hold out and not have to race if someone others went out and I could find a shove spot.

Last hand was...well...meh...lol..was happy when I got protected and had live cards...

It does suck being that close to the next step..but I have been to the next step and lost also..lol..so..it is what it is. Will try again tomorrow. Still got 110 bucks out of my 20ish investment.

I got a better one.

Dealt AA - re-raise preflop - two callers
Flop is A-T-J rainbow

I bet 2/3 pot - call, call
Turn is meaningless - I bet half pot, fold, all in
I make a crying call and he flips up KQ and I'm out

Problem is villain could have tow pair, a lower set, made a flush draw on the turn, there is no way I can fold my trip Aces.

Just another set up, err, I mean variance.

nice run....those 3x turbos are the best way to qualify for bigger tourneys I find....alot of dead money that only rebuy a couple times, so the field size is usually cut drastically by the time the addon hits

only bad thing is running bad......a $3 tourney can cost a shit load....I once spent $27 on a $1 3x

yeah, some of these guys are rebuying 6000 chips and the blinds are at 4k/8k before the addon hits..the addon is only 30k. Makes for a very good shove game..lol

Trying a few 55 buckers (and another 6.66)this morning and then I think I am done for the holidays..too busy for awhile. What I did notice though, is they take a rake on the rebuys on the 6.66? Or am I reading that wrong?
