Representing the flush

Ok
I played this tourney loose and fast. I called his flop bet because I wasnt convinced that he had the A yet. Kind of looked like a continue bet. After the turn bet I beleive him but decide to call and try and spike two pair or trips. If this player would have hit two pair he would have bet more so I think he has a decent A. I am also considering pushing if a heart comes out. Bingo out comes a heart he checks and I push.......he goes into the tank and calls.
Now, what did I do wrong, besides any smart ass comments about calling preflop with K10.
I did play it like a flush draw but I beleive the problem is in the stack sizes. If he calls and loses hes down to the felt, if he folds hes still in the runnings if he calls and wins hes chip leader.
If I had him covered or our stacks where about 5xbb depper I think this play works.
FEED BACK?

Re: Representing the flush

People don't fold, cmon man! Also the pot is huge by that point he's getting good odds to call, and you say yourself you have a loose image so he probably thinks you're more likely to ahve something donkish like KTo than a flush. I think you can give up on the turn, sure he underbet but you're still not close to getting the odds to call on your real outa and your bluffing equity is minimal at best i'd say. Also, you can't assume he will pay off every time you hit 2 pair or trips but fold when you bluff, they're essentially contradictory.
