all i want for the holidays is for forum members to stop 3xing once antes come into play
I might add that this is a great flop for you as all non paired hands the other flatter has he can only hit runner runner boat and all pair hands can only hit 2 outs. 1 bad thing is 2 clubs up but id prob risk and check flop here lead turn.

While I agree its a great flop, I was hoping to get three streets of value, if he has a pocket pair. Also, what's wrong with 3x raising, especially when the blinds are this low, relative to the stack sizes ?

its not needed. When your raising to steal blinds your risking more by 3x. when you have to cbet flop your bets not have to be bigger because the pot is bigger. your just making pots bigger in situations where you don't want them to be. 2xing these days will do the trick, you'll steal blinds and when you don't you risk the min when cbetting on flops where you missed
