I am just finalizing the details for the next league... just need to know which nights work best. Please vote on your favorite. We will start the games at 9pm EST:

I usually work from home Wednesday, so Tuesday + Sunday has got my vote.

Wednesday nights interfere with Bristol Streets, you lose a significant portion of the regulars.

Would prefer a once per week league or two separate leagues so you don't have to be available for both nights.
So I vote Thurs.

So I vote Thurs. | Is that better? As for 1 night instead of 2, the reason is not everyone will be able to make one night... by having 2 nights there will be a better chance that everyone can make at least one of them.

But if you are keeping league standings then they are penalized for not being able to make both nights plus as DrTyore pointed out, many of us play in other leagues/events which adds up to too many poker nights per week.

I think 2 nights is fine but the points should be based on each players top x amount of finishes, not of total cumulative points.

One thing I was thinking was have a cheap game during the week that carried less weight and say a $25 game on sunday where the points were double... would that work?

Say we have 10 league games, instead of having points for all 10 games count, make it say top 5 count. So that way if someone can make all 10 games, they have more chances to have higher finishes, but at the same time doesn't punish a player who can only play 1 game a week.

I second that
The buyins should be the same for all events though.
