Here's an example of what a HH I would post would basically be

Seat 1: someone (SB)
Seat 2: DrTyore (BB)
.
.
.
Seat 9: Darbday (D)

Blinds 50/100

- Here's my read on BB: He and I have a lot of history. He constantly tells me I do not raise enough, and will call with any two cards if I do my standard raise (1-1.5x the BB). He has told me repeatedly / shown down absolute garbage cards that he either bluffed me off with or beat when he hit a bigger hand. He is aggressive, and often shows down solid hands at showdown. He is capable of firing on every street with air.

Dealt to Darbday (AKhh)

Folded to Seat 9, who raises to 225
SB folds
BB calls

Pot - 500
Flop - three cards that aren't an A, K, or two hearts

BB bets 350
D folds

*OR*

BB bets 350
D bets 725
BB bets 2000
D folds

Regardless, you can't have it both ways and say that I need to consider the circumstances. At the VERY least if you're coming after my blind ADJUST FOR ME. If you think your hand is better and are happy with winning the minimum, fine. BUT if you're a smart player, you're going to make me make the biggest mistake.

If I had a dollar for every time I've seen the comment "terrible call" made during the forum games, I wouldn't be here. I'd be reading the posts in the high stakes forums somewhere. If I had a dollar for every time I've seen the comment "Hey, nice call." or "nice trap" or whatever, made by the same people saying "terrible call", I'd still be painting for a living. Hey, it's a living.

When people say "gg" or the like, it's a polite way to say adieu to someone who's been booted from the game. Whether they've played poorly or not. It's not something to dispute or debate. It's a friendly comment. While "thank you for playing" is a polite alternative, there's no reason that someone can't say "gg" if they choose.

I guess what I'm saying is that coaching, mentoring, advising should be balanced with positives and negatives. Simply offering negatives is the equivalent of ridicule. If people really want to assist others in their game play, positive reinforcement would play a much larger part of their palate of advice. Unsolicited offering of negatives (i.e. ridicule) is merely bullying.

Just my opinion.

Fair enough there Bill

Though I do attest that the whole GG / TYFP thing was more funny than flippant.

Well, I guess I'll create a parallel thread to the game notification thread for post game analysis, discussion, advice, commentary, etc. and hopefully the impending shit storm will include a couple of nuggets of positives in some shape or form.

Yee have now asked. I believe it likely that yee shall now receive..
