Private Forum Tournaments

Hello to everyone!

Just wanted to let everyone know that the Private Forum Tournaments are now being set up through the Home Games now available on Stars.

I would like to thank Westside8 for creating the new Canada's Poker Forum Poker Club. This new feature will allow some freedom in how we set up tournaments, track points, and eliminate the need for passwords etc.

In order to be able to join the Forum Games you will need to become a member of the Canada's Poker Forum Home Game Club. Once a member you will receive emails notifying you of newly created tournaments and all info related to them.

I have already created the tournament for tomorrow night for those interested, with a couple changes to the structure. ( I thought I would mess around a bit)

The blind levels will be 10 mins only instead of 15, however the starting stack is 2000 instead of 1500.

We had a great turnout on Tuesday! I hope to see everyone registered as a Canada's Poker Forum Home game member so you can get in on the tournaments!

Any plans to add some other games into the rotation? PLO would be great, say once or twice a month.

I think we tried this last year and nobody showed.

Could be worth another try though. Ugh. Another game for me to be bad at.

Multi games has not worked in the past and I see no reason why it will now. We are getting good participation now, I am not sure why you want to mess with that.

No worries Shibas, how are you to know. I thought it sounded like interest may have shifted but perhaps not. I will defer to the players on this and if all are ok with things as they are that is how they will stay.

Again, the offer to set up a different tournament outside the forum games is always a possibility. I just need some notice to make sure I can do so in time for those interested.

Was worth a shot I guess, maybe one day it there will be enough interest to try it.
