Where to play.....Are there things I should be looking for when finding a game? Things guys should stay away from?

I assume you are aware of allvegaspoker.com ? From a quick perspective, if you are a live rookie but still want to play NL try Excal and MGM. I would say the easiest places to play. MGM would be higher variance, lots of drinkers and young wannabees, just don't be one of them. Stay away from Bellagio, Wynn and Venetian if you are inexperienced...
Tournaments different answers though..

The last time my wife came down with me we played the trading card game. Collect as many as possible during the day and compare notes when you get back to the hotel.

I did that too in June...I traded them not only at the condo where I was staying but at the tables...it was funny cause guys just started pulling them out of their pockets....LMAO

Do a search on Vegas on the forum... I am sure there are tons of good posts in the past too. Search just vegas in general, and vegas trip reports.

Here's some friendly advice....when you get handed a hooker player card, make sure you throw it back in the faces of the mexicans...they really like that!
