The BBC_Z Poker Forum Challenge

Okay folks here is an interesting hand for everyone to take a shot at. Pre flop with AA is always pretty standard so I will pick up the hand on the flop and give everyone a shot. I will post the turn sometime on Thursday.

I will suggest that everyone PM their analysis to me and I will keep them all in check until we work our way through the hand. Once you have sent me a PM please post in the thread that you have done so. It will show your involvement and hopefully keep the thread near the top of the forums.

Reads: $100NL 6 Max Cash Game

I have been at this table for about 50 hands. I have 350ish hands on our villain in my DB.

He is 20/17 pre-flop. His Attempt to steal is 63% and he is tightish out of the blinds. His total aggression is 3.2. WTSD% 27 and W$SD 52%

My notes on him is that I have seen him 3 bet 88 and TT out of the blinds and he seems to like C/Ring the flop.

I am not familiar with these poker statistics, so can somebody please explain what they mean? Otherwise, my answer is to fold AA preflop.

He is 20/17 pre-flop.... His total aggression is 3.2. WTSD% 27 and W$SD 52%

that mean he play 20% of his starting hand, and raise 17/20 of them. (good target for 3bet bluff)
aggression statis mean his bet/call = 3.2
WTSD% mean how often does he goes to showdown
this case, he take his 6 or 7 of the hand he play to showdown.
W$SD mean how often he show best hand at the showdown.
this case 52%
6max game
that statis is consider tight agressive preflop, agressive postflop.
total aggressive 3.2 he is aggressive.
WTSD% and W$SD tell me, he doesn't stack off light.

think of all the funs stats you are missing from not playing online; buddy, you know you only fold aces pre-flop with everyone else all-in; even I wouldn't fold AA in this situation. With those comments you might get banned, so be careful.

can somebody please explain how this aggression number is calculated. i'm assuming that the higher it is the more often the player calls/bets/raises, is this correct?

EDIT: pm sent.

Aggression Factor = (total times bet + total time raised)/(total times called)

A calling station will have a low AF. Someone who bets or folds will be high.
