| cheap limit drills... challenge!
I read a blog by Chris Ferguson... and this has helped me immensly and you guys should try it.
After a bunch of bad beats and being cold decked the past week, I was seeking a cheap strategy to get my game and more importantly, my focus, back on track and this "drill" has helped me immensly. I hope it can help you guys as well.
start with min buy in at micro tables:
.20 is the min at a .02/.04 table;
.50 is the min at the .05/.10 table;
1$ is the minumum at .10/.20 table;
2.50 is the minimum at .25/.50 table;
Buy into each table with the minimum and leave and "level up" when you reach the min. buy in for the next series of blinds. If you bust, you go back down a "level" and keep trying to level up.
This has been enjoyable and profitable for me the past few nights, and I feel comfortable enough to get back into some NL high stakes (2/4, 5/10) probably as early as tonight.
Just a thought for game sharpening and focus for you card sharks.
