The 2/5 players at BCC are pros compared to most of the online limit players.

Haven't played limit online for a while. What limits are you looking at?

Huh?
What limit are you comparing it to online? 2c/4c? Try playing 50c/$1. online and see what it's like compared to 2/4 or 2/5 live and see.... Maybe 30% flop, never see that live, well maybe one hand per hr....

Yeah I wasn't aware the 84o guy also played online. WTF Hobbes? BCC is donkeytown. Online the key is table selection because many tables are loaded with tough players chasing the one or two donks.

limit online is getting tougher on the smaller sites, too many regulars. 10/20 live is prob equiv to 1/2 online.

I'm still poor so I was looking at like .10/.20 or .25/.50 to start.

Should I expect the skill level there to be around 5/10 live?

Yeah probably close, but even tighter online.

Make sure you do bonuses/rakeback. It'll build your roll to play higher. Try PokerSavvy or Poker Source Online.

The online LIMIT games have gotten much tougher.

As other posters have mentioned table selection is key.

If you're beating the Brantford 5/10 and 10/20 it would be good to start at .05/.10 or .10/.20 -- If you crush that game then you can move up quickly.

Try to follow the 300 big bet rule, for bankroll management.

One thing I like to do sometimes is open up 18 tables of .02/.04 and play like a maniac, raise any two cards and see if I can still make a profit...

Try it, it's fun.

It gets my inner mad man out....

I play a lot of online LHE. As suggested start out at very low limits .25/.50 at the highest. Are you starting out playing full ring? Probably a good idea until you get used to online play.
Post lots of hands for analysis, and good luck!

So 5/10 live is pretty close to Fl20 and 50 online. Interesting. Gotta get my butt out to the casino I guess.

Op what site are you playing limit on?

Im currently playing limit on three sites. Partypoker, pokerstars and mansion.

Mansion and pokerstars are pretty fishy more so on mansion I would say. Action is pretty tight on party though. In general I don't find the cash action on party to be fishy at all for the most part. Maybe this was true a few years ago but theres lots of decent players on there now.

Okay you will have no trouble making money on pokerstars. Im currently playing FL 0.10/0.20 on there. To be honest its not even a challenge at that level. So many bad players at that level. At this level I find that alot of players are willing to limp and hardly ever raise preflop. Lots of calling stations as well. Good luck to you and have fun.
