Lol. It's 2005 all over again.

Hopefully they add some higher limit tables but 4 tabling Rush poker is enough hands per hour to show a decent return. Especially with morons like these.

Because if I raise in position on the flop I make exactly an extra .50 cents if someone has an A and goes into check call mode. If a spade comes on the turn and someone makes a flush then it costs me an extra .50, when I go into call down mode and maybe an extra $1.50 if I get check raised on the turn. On the other hand in this particular hand if I raise on the flop everyone folds.

I see. I still think you should raise preflop and turn, if he goes into c/c on the river then you allways miss a bet.

preflop you want to discourage callers behind you / raise for value no?

I do mostly. This time since I was in late position in a 3 way pot I decided to flat and disguise my hand. That part really didn't work out because the other caller folded on the flop.

I know one of the advantages of Rush poker is that no-one has any reads on you. ie in late position you might as well open with any 2 cards because the blinds have no idea that you have been doing that 100% of the time. Actually I'm seeing a lot more blind defense because of that very fact.

Again I could have raised on the turn but I put the guy on an A worse than mine and decided to let him continue to feel that he had the lead in the pot and keep firing. If he was really weak then even if he checked the river, I might get a check/call instead of a check/fold. Sometimes you just get the feeling that you are way ahead, you've got the guy by the balls and you want to continue to let him hang himself.

Why he did call on the end, I have no idea.

It's rush poker so in an hour you might play a couple hands against a single player and you have no time to actually see who you are playing. I just play straight position poker. You don't really make a lot of money at this limit but 4 tabling I can grind 200 FTP points in an hour. Since I am clearing my quarterly bonus and I usually play from 11pm-12am for double FTP points, add in rakeback and it's a pretty good return for 1 hour of play per night.

Early on my PT stats would come up for the players but with the last update, for some reason, the stats never actually match the players anymore.

Since I don't have a lot of time to play anymore I mostly look for stuff where I can quickly and mindlessly grind out a lot of points. Limit rush poker seems to fit the bill or I play the $11 turbo sngs. On Stars I usually play multiple $50 DoN sngs.
