(Hint: If you do anything but muck your aces, you should have your poker license revoked!)
You said if stacks are deep, not sitting on 3 bbs.

If you don't put the money in then, what do you do if the large stack puts you all in on a flop that you did not hit?? Remember, you will only have 500 back (that you have to put in as the small blind on the next hand) and the pot will be 6200.

The 500 means nothing to the big stack. They will most likely NOT just check it down if they catch anything that can beat an overpair, or catch anything at all for that matter.
Even with those stacks I call and hope to check it down. AA is still the nuts preflop, and is giong to win 65% of the time against 2 randoms.

If he shoves me here then he's a complete idiot. No point to do so whatsoever when we're on the bubble of a satelliete.

If he does shove post flop I fold and flame him if he lost.

Like you said the 500 means absolutely nothing to him so theres no point in shoving. We're both colluding to knock out the bubble, and if we do we all win.

This is the exact line I would take in your spot. I do this all the time in Omaha DoNs when I am short but not shortest and we are on the bubble.

If the hero stack was deeper in this exact spot I would call/check it down if it was just to eliminate a short stack, and I would fold preflop if two other guys with big stacks were raising and re-raising preflop. I will leave it to the guys who like "gambling" to eliminate each other in that situation. I just like money.
