I should have been more specific in the title, it's the $3.30 rebuy but there's less than 200 players left at this point, and first place was ~6k.

Guys, shouldn't we factor in that villain is shoving in EP and as for that, AJs can't really be doing that well, even against an unknown...

I'd toss it. EP shove, you're SB, and the BB has you stacked too. I take a walk and look for a better spot. I probably wouldn't find said better spot, but I'd look.

I just dont like the spot. This includes villain stack size and position. And we are by no means "desperate". Sure we are short at the table, but 2-3 quick blind steals in good position and you're right back.

If open shove comes from CO or BTN obv. this is a fistpump.

I just cant see villains range being any worse than 88+, AJ+, in which case things dont look great.

You do need to take a few more chances in that tournament with 200ish left given the payout structure (top 18/final table a huge jump, 1000-19th are tiny increases), but with 15BBs calling a 11 BB shove with AJ seems a bit light, assuming the guy who shoved is not nuts.

Lots can dominate you, not much you dominate, some may be races. Your stack is not beautiful but it still is decent enough to work with to find better spots then this, particularly to initiate the action.

You need to be a bit "gambly" given that it will be 1-2 hours before you even get to the better payoffs, but I think this spot is a frustrating fold.

There are 2 factors I'm looking at here.

1/ the fact that this was an early position pusher, that's rarely a light push, unless I have some previous history..

2/ With antes it's much different for me. I like to be the pusher instead of caller. It doesn't take many uncalled pushes to really increase your stack, so be the pusher not the caller. Although the fact that you have 15BB is misleading since your cost per round is approx 27K so you don't have a lot of wiggle room. M<6
