Is this a rebuy or a freezeout?

If it is a rebuy, then in the first hand example, I have no problem with your play if you are intending to rebuy. But if it is a freezeout, playing suited connectors isn't always what it is cracked up to be. Admittedly, you where in the BB and got the chance to see a free flop, and I have no problem with that. But ask yourself this question about the post flop. If the board was showing JQK rainbow, would you feel your low straight was good? If not, then your K10 high flush is the same. The other guy has only to have two suited cards, J high or better to beat you. By checking the turn, you are also giving the other guy the chance to overtake your hand (for example if he just had only the Ace or trips). Also with a paired board on the river, you also have the chance of being beaten by a Full house or Quads. Dont mind your raise on the river too much, but his all in move and your call where dodgy at best, just think if lkf20 had a pocket pair that hit that board. This is a mistake which I see so often and one I often fall into.

As for the 2nd example. A call is fine, but this is a raise from the button and there is a fair chance he is stealing. A raise upto around 600-800 could of took the pot there. If he re-raises all in, then you know you are 50/50 at best, and there is a fair chance has AK/AA/KK/QQ, all of which put you in bad shape, so in this case I would fold, but still saving you chips in the long run. As you have called preflop, I would of lead out on the flop. You are in a 3 way pot and slow playing this will only allow others to hit 2pairs, trips etc. On the turn I have no problem with you leading out (although you should of done this on the river). Jokill's min raise shows one of a few things. He strong, but with two suited cards there I would of expected a bigger raise to push out other draws. He's semi bluffing, and trying to steal the pot cheaply there and then. You have to think to your self is your AQ good. If so I would push all in. If not, then fold. As for the river, personally I would say it's a good fold, but if someone told me to show, I wouldn't too

Lead the damn turn in hand 1. As played you can prboably fold river unless he's bad/crazy.

Hand 2 his raise size pre is so suspicious that I don't mind the call if he seems decent otherwise. If he's done anything to make you think hes an idiot then reraise. Postlfop I proably play the same as you.
