BAD BOY! BAD!! Raise this 10000% of the time!

A: You're in the BB, it looks like a defend / resteal
B: You don't know him, he don't know you
C: YOU HAVE FUCKING QQ!!

So, before I look past pre-flop, you deserve to lose this hand right now.

EDIT: I just realized this guy bet 1/7 of the pot? You need to re-pop here 100000% of the time, because he's going to let you find out nice and cheap (i.e. go to 40k, which should have been his bet first off, and you get information or the pot).

Now, to move on....

*** FLOP *** [Th Ts 7h]
forboon: checks
younker: bets 10000
forboon: calls 10000

Fuck that's bad - I don't care if you bet out or if you check / raise him, but this is the 2nd worst thing you can do - the worst being check / fold.

Onto the turn

*** TURN *** [Th Ts 7h] [8s]
forboon: bets 20000
younker: raises 671661 to 691661 and is all-in
forboon:

NOW you bet? And you bet THAT weak? There's now TWO flush draws, TWO MADE straights, and you have no clue what he has because you didn't push back at any point in this hand.

What's his range here for raising UTG? Well, considering we have NO information about a guy that just sat down, we can easily add in AA-JJ, AJs and up. It's a $2 tourney, so maybe he plays AT like this? Who knows? Maybe he's playing 99?

Poorly played hand.

Mark

i know i know i know, and you could be even harsher because i know its true. preflop, but the reason i didn't raise is because i think 90% (made up stat to represent the word 'most') of the time he re shoves all in. So would you snap call the shove preflop?

I would have re-raised it preflop to 80K, if he shoves, you call as you are only losing to two hands and a flip to one other. At this stage, QQ is the type of hand you are looking for to try and double up and make a deep run. Are you trying to win, or just cash ?

Don't mind the flop flat but I'd raise the flop and get it in

You gotta look at your stack size, at 25xbb theres no reason not for you to put in all your chips with QQ, especially pre.

Yeah like virgin tight over 10,000 hands where he never steals EVER in this spot. He can have KK and AA 12 ways. so there are 12 hands in what like, 1200 possible holdings? Ship it in.

You took a very easy hand to play and made it very difficult. Given the pot size I think you have to call here. GL.

JJ you should play even mroe aggressively then QQ as you'd like to buy the pot right now. I 3bet big (~100,000+) and call an AI.
