K heres another fun video, i picked up some headphones with a mic so the sound is better (almost too good). the video doesn't look too clear on my screen but might be the resolution, Ill have to work that out. But the stack size aren't as relevant for this and i think you can see everything else good enough. ***if you can't do full screen then i gave the wrong link****
Its just a small concept I see in all the fields I play in. There's some more considerations when doing this but i still think its a building block many miss.
I'm not so good on a mic but i think i got the point across....
are you saying when you have middle pair J's-9's maybe 8's to get it all in if an over card comes and the opponent has position on you? Also, what software was that?

thanks.
the software on the left is universal replayer (i think), the one on the right is poker stove they are both free....
as for the situation, i can't tell you when to call or fold, theres too many possibilities but if decide not fold then this will help you win more often in these spots....

1st hand w JJ, I think you gave him too wide a range (all pocket pairs?) for 3 betting (but I was not at the table). Once the flop comes down, you should have added the board into Poker Stove.
On that flop, you are 3:2 dog without removing cards from his range.
Once you narrow his range on the flop (3 min 4 sec). You are 9:1 dog.

i didn't add all pairs for the first hand (not for any) but mid pairs for sure and some times it gets wider. i think people make the mistake of putting people on too tight a range here.....but its all read dependent.....

sure, and with pot odds we could call depending on how short we are, but there is a little more play to be had here.........

...and this will re iterate the point but, when we are in a spot like this we don't want to narrow his range by allowing him to fold his weaker hands.....
sometimes we want to consider slowplaying to keep it closer to the 3:2 range.....
board texture becomes important but the basic concept is 'i'f we are going to continue with hand we want to be a 3:2 dog not a 9:1
