I couldn't put him on 65 or a 4 so was thinking he either had a queen or was slow playing a set, which I also doubted.

Pretty confusing but I think I'd simply call, his range is pretty polarized to wierd bluffs or hands that beat your two pairs. His value range is mostly 34s or 56s, possibly QJ if he's bad. I'd say it's too much of a negative freeroll to raise, even HU

Thats exactly what I was thinking. I read that as he didn't want to let me check down the river and threw in a bet (though kinda big). Here is the spoiler in white:

anytime the villian checks/call me down weak like and bets strong out of nowhere on the river, i instantly know he donked me out with the river card and so then I put a big re raise and call any re raise
