Too Tight Or Good Fold Pt 3

Both villains have shown aptitude to be lagtards but neither had made either of these plays yet (limp call big raise or 7xr from BB). Seems like there are better spots than this to take them out. As you can see from the rest of the hand, they're both insane.

Normally, I'd say you'd be an idiot to take my advice but for what it's worth...

Given your description of these guys, you could very well see where this was headed. Which did end up being the case. You've got more than a big enough stack to wait for a better spot, rather than throwing your whole stack in when there are many hands that are likely to beat you.

you set yourself up for a squeeze play here (albeit not a very good one), with two limpers a raise from the bigger blind puts him on a very wide range. You could call like you did but then you really are left with set minning the flop.

A better play here would be to raise to 4 times the bb, trying to get the bb to fold and be hu with the initial limper. then a continution bet will usually take the pot down. whats important about that is it help you play a strong hand out of position

you can also do what you did, and then re rasise the bb's squeeze knowing that most of the time he will be light because you and the other limper showed no strength....

try hard not to limp......
