without any reads, who knows? at best you could have saved 1580 (or maybe 780) if you knew he was a super nit (or if you knew he'd only check raise when he is way ahead). but most likely nope. you wanna cookie?

preflop reraise i like to go about 3X the amount of the original raise. that is, he raises to 300, i'll raise to 900. however, that's not a big problem in this hand (i don't think). as the hand plays out it doesn't seem like you could really get away from this. his raise all in on the flop is the only time you'd be able to let this go, but in my experience folding overpairs is extremely difficult for many players. minus a read on the flop raiser, i'm probably calling this as well. if he only raises/reraises with premium hands, i might be able to find a fold.
