Philli-

You put an explanation beside your reasoning for betting the turn. If you really believe that why arent you betting the flop.

Bet flop -> Give up turn.

As played I prob call river. There is no value in raising.

my raise size here is 3x + 1 for each limper......i actually raise 2.2 or so but without antes closer to the former. so that's more like 150 + 100 = 250. but i don't wanna put in such a big bet with tt because when i get callers (which limpy fishies will do), the flop will be hard to play with any over cards (which will always happen), a few callers (which they will likely call), and a good chunk of my stack in.

I'll consider set mining, so limping with the other two, but only if i don't think anyone behind is bound to raise, which is quite likely here depending on the play that anyone behind will limp and not raise. Basically if your gonna raise you gotta be quite sure you only gonna get one or two callers here, but hopefully only one.

Sometimes at a weak table ill raise like 110, and fold to a re raise. Most of the time we can isolate the same way but still only set mine and not feel bad about folding to an ace on the flop. Its not standard at all but these players will let you do it. Your not raising for value or aggression that way, but just to discourage others from raising after your in the pot, if they do you gotta think they have better than tt, or at least ak.

Anyways after you raise pre like you did, a small probe bet like less than half the pot will look like you have a strong ace and are trying to suck others into the pot. If you had an ace you would bet bigger because there is a flush draw, but here you can make a cheap bluff. They will very likely fold with out an ace or a flush draw, and a flush draw will check any non heart turn and river. That's all the chips i would put in this pot.

We never have a 'feeling' that they don't have an ace, vekked drilled that in my head in another thread, however many aces there are in their range is the % of time they have one, and limping in with aces is a fishes game.

Cliff notes: strive to play TT either heads up or as a set mine....
