Since the increase in media coverage of poker over the past decade (more so in the last 5 yrs) has revealed and continues to follow the lives of many poker players I often think about what it would be like to be a professional poker player. - Are there any forumers who use poker as a their main source of income?
- How did you get into it?
- What is it like?
I've only been playing poker for about 1 1/2 years now and doubt that I'll ever be able to try to make a living doing it (especially with 2 kids, a wife and a mortgage) but I think it would be so cool. What are some of the realities of being a professional poker player?
