Really? I think your live ROI should always be better than online? Now the variance is of course much greater....as you can't play 8 at a time.

Yea your live ROI *should* be much higher as long as you're adjusting and stuff. Obv you can't just play your online game live, but people play so exploitably. The variance is def not higher (in the sense that if you play 1000 games live you'll run closer to EV than 1000 games online), the only drawback is lower volume/takes more time to get in 1000 games.

I don't think you can ever get a "true" "live ROI" simply because you won't ever get a big enough sample size.

True ROI is kind of a myth imo. Like think of how many variables there are over the course of a few thousand online tournaments. It's not really relevant, but I mean we can get enough tourneys to ballpark it and who needs anything more than that?
