WSOP Main Event: 'Yukon' Brad Booth - CardPlayer.com

just read this article today. never knew that brad booth was in this situation. allegedly he lost $2.5 million in the UB cheating scandal and has been in debt every since. was possibly going to get paid back by UB until black friday happened. can't even imagine being in a situation where i owe millions. he seems quite optimistic and says it'll only be time before he's back at the high stakes.

There is also a CBS 60 minutes documentry that can be found on the net somewhere with Brad, filmed as the events happened and he went from on top of the world to grinding to survive.

Been a freind for the past few years and both Dennis and I can vouch that the man is honest and treats people with respect. Biggest difference between him and half the other TV pros is Brad doesn't pretend to be something he is not.

The 60 Minutes show was about the UB/AP scandal and I don't recall seeing him in it. If there is a second 60 Minutes poker story about Brad, please post the link.

Your right about 60 minutes, CBC is what first instinct is, will try to find, but sure he had a part in one of the documentaries

some of the best stuff played upon HSP, gotta miss brad booth honestly, when hes back at the top of where he needs to be once again hes a force

he lost alot in a game he thought he could beat (probably could if his cards were not exposed)

I watched this video when it ran for the first time, as with all the first 6 seasons of HSP, I damn near fell out of my chair when he said "all-in" until gabe kaplan explained the thought process, I was like "what are you doing!!!?" seems it works out, I dont have the nuts for that stuff

The look on Ivey's face after the 4:00 minute mark is awesome. If looks could kill, Yukon Brad would have been a goner.

You can almost hear Phil's thoughts "Dont you know who I am!!"

Theres a part I think the peisode before that one when David Williams sits, Ivey was looking right through him too.

The FTP video of the Ivey stare is actually quite amusing stuff, especially for a guy that has never seen it! (Phil Ivey himself)
