Just something he said in some PP video, that contrary to popular belief late reg wasn't -EV and that there had been some maths done on it

no i agree with you (in a sense). they are generally at a disadvantage for sure. however, they do have the advantage over smaller stacks when they register later (which is not the majority of the players obviously). and in both cases, it is not equal in any way obviously.

ive been thinking there is something about this taken out of context and i think ive found it. you can't assume a uniform field strength. the field strength early and late are not likely to be the same, nor is the person registering late.
