I think you misunderstood me, I am glad to have ppl registering late. They are at a disadvantage as their stack to bb ratio, ie M is lower than someone who started early. I use this early time to see some cheap flops, hopefully to double up vs someone who can't fold tp... I find it hard to believe that Herschel would believe ppl would have an advantage registering late. It's simple economics...

no i agree with you (in a sense). they are generally at a disadvantage for sure. however, they do have the advantage over smaller stacks when they register later (which is not the majority of the players obviously). and in both cases, it is not equal in any way obviously.

can we find this because i wouldn't have thought this. and is it not -EV but less +EV?

ive been thinking there is something about this taken out of context and i think ive found it. you can't assume a uniform field strength. the field strength early and late are not likely to be the same, nor is the person registering late.
