I'm just curious if anyone perhaps has some links or info regaurding that folding of the CPT from last summer. I seen somewhere there were a few events that were dubbed Tour stops. But I guess to in one breathe I'm asking where a good place online would be to find out about $200 to $500 MTT around Western Canada. It just something I've found interest in from the last year and enjoy stopping by some Casino's I've never been. Last year I managed to hit up Cash Casino in Red Deer, Casino Regina for the July Event, Yellowhead, and Casino Edmonton at one time. Does anyone else pose an interest out there?

Also, the WPT had an event in Vancouver (@ the River Rock - which is an amazing poker room, if you're ever on the West Coast). No other events have been announced on their website, though: World Poker Tour Canada

I haven't seen too many other events in the buy-in range that you're looking for. Camrose Casino runs a $100 buy-in on the last Saturday or Sunday of the month.

Let me know if you find out any other decent tourneys out this way.

Was at the Deerfoot Casino in Calgary during the Stampede......they had a $3300 buy-in event that was posted as a CPT event. I played a sattelite but didn't get in......think they were expecting about 120 players.

I know of a couple bigger events then end of August..... Official Casino ABS Web Site at Casino Edmonton (Argyll)....$500.00 buyin and $1500.00 buyin. This used to be a CPT.....not sure if it still is.

Also one at RiverCree Edmonton the following week and weekend with similar buyins....can't find a link for that one.
