Excited and need to share (chip pic)
As some of you may know, I collect redbirds from various Casinos I (or my friends) have visited.

So far I have the following collection:

$1 Casino Niagara
$1 Brantford Casino
$1 Fallsview Casino
$2.50 Brantford Casino (love the HOT PINK)
$5 Brantford Casino
$5 Casino Niagara
$5 Casino Niagara (1 year anniversary chip)
$5 Fallsview Casino
$5 Bally's Park Place Atlantic City
$5 Hooter's Casino Las Vegas
$5 Terrible's Casino Las Vegas

I had previously asked my friend who makes frequent trips to Vegas (not to gamble but to visit a friend) to pick me up 1 from casinos off the beaten path. I wanted my first visit (to Vegas) to include picking up chips from the major spots..

Well his last trip his friend knowing my request took him on a day trip to Casino after Casino for me. (what a guy )

He sent this pic to me from his hotel room...


Looks like he hit most of the majors but I don't really care!!! My collection basically doubles.

I have little desire to order chips from online or other places but instead want to focus on Casino's people I know have visited (including me). I also like the worn chips as it shows they have 'seen' action.

These chips (including a mystery one not pictured) are waiting for me in Hamilton. As soon as I can get to my buddy's dad's house (he lives in Montreal) all these beauties will be MINE!!!!

The Wynn has a $3 chip. Kind of a novelty. He should have grabbed you one of those too.

if you want a couple $1 chips from the Calgary casinos, I will pick them up for you this weekend. btw, isn't the fun visiting the casino in person? no Rama or Seneca chip?

Thanks for the generous offer but I am trying to stick to the $5's whenever possible.

I agree the fun is in visiting the casino but since I can't see myself going to Vegas in the near future those are less vital to me.

I haven't been back to Seneca since I started collecting and have never been to Rama, is it worth the drive?

i also have a pretty good collection of $5 chips. my thing is that i actually have to gamble at the casino.

nice collection of chips zunni, I prefer to have played at the casino in order to collect 1. I am surprised u dont have one from all casinos in Ontario, including Port Perry Casino or gananaque.

the fun is actually being there. I have the 2 3 4 dollar chips they use to chip up the rake from turning stone. I have stuff from atlantic city casinos and vegas casinos that aren't even there any more.

Agreed, but then I'd only have Brantford, and Niagara chips

As long as I know the person who picked up the chip for me, that's good enough. I'm not going on e-bay to buy them...

As for other Ontario Casinos chalk it up to living in Brantford, having 2 small kids and a full time job. Getting away is not as easy as it may be for others

I want to go to Windsor and Detroit spots in the spring.
