| Hello from the UK
Hi Guys n Dolls,
Psycho here from across the pond, A little about myself... I am a member of a few poker forums and been playing for around 9 years no massive wins as of yet but I mainly play cash games and not Donkerments, I moderate on 2 forums and work for Nutz.Tv uploading and editing poker video. One of the reasons I have joined here is to ask if you do live updates for the Canadian Poker tour ? we have a Canadian on one of the forums I belong to who has managed to win a seat into this event at the River Cree and I am trying to find a way to keep the members updated on his progress.
Any way this will not be a flash visit and I hope to be a noticeable member in the future... I organize and run online forum challenges between forums and would be more than willing to include our Canadian friends in these events if you so wish. |

Welcome to the Forums. Whereabouts in "Jolly Olde" are you from? My wife is a Coventry girl, so as long as it isn't Burnley, I'll be allowed to keep talking to you.

Thought I better show you the Sand Trap as well, As you can see our area does not really look too good for a golfer with sand and water all over the place. |

Hey Dave,
Welcome to the forum... great pics you have there. I am definitely jealous! As for your question about live updates, I am not sure if this is done for CPT events. If I find anything out though, I'll let you know. Possibly they will have something on the CPT website.
Anyway, welcome aboard. Would be fun to get a Canada vs. UK game going. I was talking to someone else about that before, but lost contact.
Anyway, welcome!

Anyway, welcome! | Not a problem Graham.. and thank you for your assistance with CPT, I have already been to the site you mentioned and its just short of useless, Very strange how they lack a promotion tool such as live updates.
As for the Forum Challenge any time your up for it I will get one sorted for us all would need a poker room that all party's can play at so if your interested PM me any ideas you have and I will try and get the ball rolling for you. |

I know the CPT doesn't currenty (or never has) had a live update for their tourneys. Things may pick up for it, as it was recently shut down, and then started back up with new owners and promises of glory.
As for the tourney itself, kind of a disaster.....hopefully you're forumer was playing Day 1a (Friday)....as their was a shooting Friday night at the nightclub there, and shut it down until Saturday night. Day 1B players had to play Sunday morning right through to completion.

Long story short we went to the final tv table of ten last night and I was guaranteed $5500. I ground it out with terrible cards and ended up finishing 5th for a payday of $12,250! Quite pleased with the result as I played short stack poker all night and had a couple of little pairs and KQ twice. It was a test in patience for sure! Had a great time and I learned a lot. The winner received $79,000 and a trip to the Dominican for our Year end Final. Funny before this week I wouldn't have considered it "our final" but I guess I am a CPT tour player now . Am pretty tired and I'm gonna go hug the kids for about a day as they haven't seen much of me in the last while. Thanks for all the suppport guys and keep up the good work. Cheers, Kirk
Kirk Wildman is his name, Really nice guy |
