I have a question on online cash games, noob here

Ive never played real money games online but wanna get into it, ive read that if you bring for example $10 to a table and u play some hands and u end up at $20 and u wanna leave, that u only leave with that $10 that u won and that the $10 u brought to the table stays there. is this true? im really new to this, thanks for the help.

You can leave with all the money have in front of you at the table.

if you leave you take as much money off the table as you have in front of you, if your not aloud too then umm dont play your being cheated

however, if you go for a break you have to keep your whole stack on the table. You cant take the money you won, away from the money you brought.

You have to keep it all in play as long as your in play.

And some sites will not allow you to re-seat yourself at another table with the same limits and take your profit with you within a certain time limit.

i.e. You are playing 50c/$1 NLHE and buy in for $100. You run it up to $300 and leave the table. Now if you sit at another 50c/$1 NLHE table within 30 minutes you need to put the entire $300 on the table.

Just in case this may be what someone told you...

Many sites will give you a deposit bonus, or some kind of incentive to join as well. However, you will be required to play so many hands / raked pots in order to keep said money.

For example, one site may offer a 100% deposit bonus, so you deposit say $50, and your account is credited with $100. However, if you do not play enough there, or clear their "point- structure", you don't get their bonus $50...

Most sites make you "earn" the bonus money first however, so it isn't like they're going to just one day a month later nab your bankroll...

Let's say you sit down with $10 and make it up to $20 and leave. If you come back to that same table within a specific amount of time and try to buyin for $10, I think they will make you buy-in for the $20 that you won prior. I think its 30 min. I could be wrong.
