| I'm leaving for Las Vegas, took way too long...
2 more sleeps, can't wait to go get sunburned and sleep deprived.
Taking the whole family, gonna be fun to hang at the pool, slide in some poker and just take in some video games and bright lights.
Just love the cheesy binkits at the buffets too....not sure what they are, but they are tasty.....
Sushi, crayfish, mmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Can't wait!

What dates are you there? Did you use the "discount" codes for Westjet and/or Hard Rock? I found lower prices, so my plan is to go with a flight through Expedia instead, stay at Hard Rock on August 17-21 for only $69/night, then check out on the two most expensive nights of Friday and Saturday to use my two free nights at Bally's, then try out the Alexis Park Resort suite (across from Hard Rock) on my final two nights. See you there.

if this is your first trip to Vegas lately, make sure you pick up the coupon book at Planet Hollywood. They have a 2 for 1 $25 wager coupon for roulette, etc. So basically you bet $25 on black or red and if you hit I think you get back $100 (something like that). If both you and the wife get one each, just cover off both colours and its $25 in the pocket guaranteed (except if my favourite green slot hits). Maybe someone else remembers the exact details but I recall it is basically free money if you get the coupon book and make a small wager. Have a good trip.

While I was showing forumer StinkyFingers the various casinos on his first trip to Vegas last year, I showed him most of the various "free money" promotions.
Match play coupons: Hooters, Bill's Gambling Hall, Tropicana, Ellis Island, Westin, Palazzo Sports Book, Planet Hollywood.
WIN cards: Excalibur, Tropicana, Hard Rock, Luxor, Four Queens, Circus Circus.
I didn't do any of these promotions during my WSOP trip, but thanks for the reminder so I may actually go inside Planet Hollywood for the first time instead of always walking past it. Quote:

I'm driving as there are 6 of us, so still way cheaper than flying. We did it before, not so bad. Plus I have some casino edition CPT magazines to bring down and Clamato, as they just called and said ceasers sound great, but they can't find any.
Will be there Monday afternoon and plan on leaving Saturday.
Thanks for all the hints, I am a cheap ass and love good deals. I make sure to grab every comp I can down there, so far so good.
Love the roulettee trick!
Anyone from here that will be down should recognize me, my avatar is the tat on my forearm, and I will of course be in either CPT or Big Slick gear.
If all goes well I might be the guy with the huge stack of chips....
mmmmmmmmmm cheezy binkets..............

Decent older place with lots of room, very quiet during my stay. My only issue was the distance to the strip....but it's perfect for Hard Rock (played there alot while I was there).
Also, hit the Pool Party Sunday @ Hard Rock (think it's called Rehab).....awesome.
