I will probably be able to make future events. A couple of suggestions to toss around. Have you thought about making it a cash game instead of SnGs? The problem I find with SnGs is you have to wait around for 9-10 players before the evening can start. Then when a player is eliminated, they have to sit around for some times 1-2 hours before they can play again. With a cash game, players can come and go as they please and there is no down time. If you want to keep the buy-in around $20, assuming each person expects to play a couple of SnGs, you could make the blinds 0.25/0.50 with a max buy-in of $50. If the ***** tourny falls through, I might be able to make it this Saturday.

Also, you should move this post to the home game section instead of 'general' and you will likely make more people aware of this tournament.

I took your suggestion and repost in the other category "home games". Not sure how I would move this one so I keep here for now. As far as cash game..I find tournys more fun personally. By offering rebuys or topup before the first hour may take care of people knocked out early or are late for start.

I am just trying to get this group started so I am not sure what to expect for people showing up? Sometimes people say they will show up and don't. Will see. Hope you can RSVP and show!

Wish I could make it this weekend. I'm swamped with some other commitments. Please post if another event like this does pop up again. I live in NE Scarborough, just a stone throw's away, so if I'm available, I'd like to pop in and see how it goes.
