New guy

Hello Everyone

I have been lurking about for the last while and decided to sign up today.

I live just outside the Vancouver area and hold a poker game at my house with friends every so often.

I few months back I got feed up with playing with dice poker chips I bought from "The Supidstore" and decided to find some quality chips.

So far I am focusing on Paulson Pharaohs from a distributor out of Canada and slowly working on building up a set. Of course just as I start buying them they run out of stock on $1 chips. Doh.

After a couple of emails I find that they will be restocking in a few month but that leaves me tapping my toes waiting to use them in my home game.

I also picked up 100 JB BCC from CT via this thread and there in the mail to me now.

BCC James Bond, ASM Palmas Club many more

Regards

Steiner

Hi Steiner,

Welcome to the forum. There are a few chip experts here, so I am sure you will get along with some of the members just great. What games do you typically play in your homegames?

Just Texas Hold'em $20 to $50 buyin with unlimited rebuys. We keep it pretty friendly though.

I have had a couple in my group say they have had a hard time with other games so we keep it simple.

My guys really don't want to learn anything new once they are past their 2nd beer. The learning curve goes way down.

Steiner, welocme. You really need to talk to moose. Or at least search some of his pix. He's a "chipper", too, and has a sweet collection. I must avoid good chips lest I go nuts like I have for plastic cards.

Yep sure do, but he is 60 and lives in Fredericton and I am in Vancouver.

Steiner is not my real name.

He's neither one. I know this because, to come here, he still has to have his balls.
