College Poker

Good afternoon,

My name is Evan MacLeod and I am a Country Marketing Manager with Life of Sports. We run the Titan Poker Cup which will begin January 25, 2009 and will take place each Sunday. We are looking to hire students to become Campus Marketing Representatives for our new promotion with Titan Poker. Below is a brief description of what the position would entail. We hire on campus reps to do land based marketing for us to promote our freeroll tournaments where one lucky post-secondary student will win their tuition and a seat plus accommodations to the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.

We provide each rep with a marketing kit that includes flyers and posters which the rep will distribute in and around campus. We are now in our fifth year of operation and have comprised a training manual consisting of the most effective ways to market to the students that we have utilized since we began our program. Each rep is sent a copy of this material to read and better understand what is required of them to market the tournaments.

We require from each rep at least four - five hours per week. It may not sound like a lot, but is imperative to our success to have each rep commit to those hours. We pay $10.00/hour and also have a bonus system set up which you can see here:

• Refer 20 New players and receive $20 in your poker account
• Refer 30 New players and receive $30 in your poker account
• Refer 50 New players and receive $50 in your poker account
• Refer 75 New Players and receive an Ipod
• Refer 100 New Players and receive a Nintendo Wii
• Refer 120 New Players and receive a new Laptop
• Refer 150 new Players and receive a 37 inch Plasma TV
• Refer 200 New players and receive a $1000 Gift Voucher from Expedia.com for a trip of your choice
• Refer 250 New Players and receive a 52 Inch Plasma Television

This provides the rep not only with a wage but the chance at some excellent bonus targets as well.

This opportunity will provide the worker with steady work for the duration of their school year and again for their following years of university if both parties wish to pursue the opportunity again.

How do you track the players to the rep if they are postering and flyering?

College Poker

When the players register with our site the information is sent into our database. Each person that registers from the respective campus reps school will be credited with the sign up. For example, If you were the St. Francis Xavier University campus rep and some one from St. Francis Xavier University registers with our site, they are credited to your account towards your bonus targets.

Also, once you register with us you are given a tracking link, you are able to use this link to have people from other schools sign up using the tracking link and will be credited to your account as well.
