Only semi legal place to play poker in Montreal, except for video poker at the casino. There are a couple clubs advertising on Facebook as well.

Yes, I actually read the TorontoStar article about the Big Bear Trading Post...

Was inquiring more about UG's right in the city of MTL. I know there are a few good ones... but I havent been in a few years.

A few of the "clubs" still exist... you may or may not be able to find/get in without help. Please don't play on the reserve... they rake 10% up to $10... don't encourage them please! Just play at the casino... action is still decent, I hear, if you can stand those tables... yuck!!

Thanks for the feedback... i concur with the "yuck" regarding the electronic tables... if I wanted to play on a computer with a bunch of strangers, i would stay home.

I'm hoping somebody can link me with a nice place right in the city... otherwise 10% max $10 may have to do

Howdy,

Well.... Yuck is right. Those machines are not very good & I agree staying home with PC is definately better.

I will PM you my place to gamble, unfortunately it IS on the reserve. The rake might be high, but at least they have a real dealer.

Good luck in finding other places.....and let me know IF you do.
