| Some pics from Europe. London portion
Hey all. I got my arse in gear and here are some highlights (and low lights) from my trip.
First, let's start with this:

My first night in London, it was raining and we decided to go for Chinese food and a walk. We went down to Coven Garden (boulevard with street vendors and great night life) and saw this. Note the red phone booths off to the left. A street musician was playing on the right under the covered part and this older couple danced in the rain for about 10 minutes. We just stood there and watched.

This was a nice, relaxed afternoon in London. After trying to register and bid on stuff at Sotheby's (which didn't quite work out) we stopped for a coffee. With the exchange, it was a $8.75 coffee, but it was still nice to relax.

That night was my insanely over-the-top dinner and drinks night with a wonderful host, friend and business associate. I believe our total bill was over 1000 pounds sterling. We went to a supper club and got liquored up pretty well. Then the restaraunt sent us to the bar in THIS! Check it out from the interior!
I also decided not to post any hangover pics. The next night we played in a tournament sponsored by William Hill Poker. They are a massive sports book and OTB chain in the UK. They have over 1600 locations. I believe they were giving out prizes, but I got busted out in 5th place (I forget the # of entrants) on a lame river. Blah Blah Blah - we've all heard it, right?
After the tourney, we went drinking in this great bar called, "the Maple Leaf Pub". When they found out we were Canadian, I think someone bought us a round. It was pouring again, so no pics of that.
Onto Paris ...
