Since the system is down at work I might as well tell you all about a hand I had last night.
Playing $50 N/L on empire last night.
I was delt 8-8 on the button. Mr Loose player calls the bb, the rest is folded to me and I raise $3. Small blind folds and the Big Blind folds.
Mr Loose calls.
Flop comes 9-9-J
Mr. Loose bets $5, and I start to analyze......
This guy has been playing loose the whole time I was there. I just lost a pot to him about 4 or 5 hands ago as he was playing runner, runner cards and caught his flush on the river. THE GUY HAD 10-3 SOOTED??
Anyway, I digress. I think for a while and then reraise him $5. He calls immediatly. At this point a 9 in his hand is very, very possible. Although, I'm still thinking that his $5 bet on the flop was his attempt to muscle me out of my pot.
Now the turn comes......8 - Oh $$$
I check the turn......so does he??
River card comes down 5, he bets $10... WTF is going on?? I think he has nothing.... and I reraise him $25, he pushes all in with $37.
Again...WTF!?! i gotta call this guy....so i do,
Never going to believe what he turned over.....this time its 10-7 SOOTED!!
He shows a straight to the J, I got the boat!

On a side note, has this ever happened to anyone?
It's happend to me on more than one occasion and I can't figure it out.
Anyone ever make a stone cold bluff at a pot with absolutly nothing (maybe King high), get called - D'OH!!, only to flip the cards and I wind up winning??
Wowzers!! I mean if I'm taking a shot with nothing, why would someone call with even less? Hmmmmmmmm
