Tricky or Obvious?

I was involved in this hand the other day, wanting to know what you think the hole cards of each player is.Â* I'll give two CPF bucks to the winner, yes TWO WHOLE BUCKS!Â* Once we figure out what they are, I want to know if you think my play was tricky or obvious.Â*

Re: Tricky or Obvious?

I refuse to believe you'd re-raise with 66.

I put you on AA. Him on KK or QQ. Go with QQ.

Re: Tricky or Obvious?

I hope you had AA/KK, because I should let you know this never works as a bluff online. I dunno what he had, a smaller pair most likely, maybe even a set though 99-JJ would be more "reasonable". I'll say KK and 77.

Re: Tricky or Obvious?

I'd say villian has pocket pair between 88 and QQ, so say 1010.

I don't think you have AA, you've commented a bunch about folding AK, so you either have KK/QQ, or you have baby garbage (22-66). Â*I'm thinking QQ.

He's big stack, so you're trying to define his hand by re-raising, he only calls, so you suspect JJ-KK or AK

his all-in screems overpair - suspect KK

IMHO, You limped, defined his hand, hit your trips and waited for him to pay you off...55

Re: Tricky or Obvious?

Without looking at the other replies yet...

Stpboy = AA

Opponent = Some overpair to the board. Since the hand was interesting enough to post here, I'm guessing either KK or 88.

Now, I'll look at the rest.

Re: Tricky or Obvious?

ok, the limp-reraise from EP indicates AA or KK... i'm gonna go with AA which seems to be the consensus. For the other guy i'm going to go with 88, yes your AA vs his 88.

Limp reraise..screams monster? AA, KK, MAYBE QQ depending on your read for the table. He probably has middle pair 77-1010?

Re: Tricky or Obvious?

Saying things like "I think he has anywhere between 22-AA, or any big A or suited connectors" isn't going to get you the two bucks people. Please be specific.

Jeez stp, making my brain work during an off day. You limp-reraised with ducks, and hit trips on the river. He had QQ and starting bitching after you won the hand
Seriously though, I'm going go with KK vs 1010

Dear Westside8,

You finished the tournament in 1st place.
A $2.00 award has been credited to your CPF account.

The reason why I posted this, contrary to what Scotty thought, was because it wasn't very interesting. I actually found my play very standard and very obvious. It really showed how much people overvalue cards or undervalue the general play online. Agree?

Re: Tricky or Obvious?

this just gives me hope, there are worse players than me out there... even i can see that limp reraise = AA or KK...
