The color coding notes feature in stars is really helpful, especially when used with notecaddy. I have like every player in my db i've ever played with classified as 1 of 6 different colors. Green are fish, purple are whales good regs are red etc. Helps me to avoid tables with lots of nits/regs on them and find more tables with fish/whales/unknowns(guys who aren't coded yet are usually potential fish since i haven't played with them yet).

I also have my HUD displaying the average vpip for the table if I see a table where that number is quite low ill usually sit out next bb and find a better one. I'm constantly sitting out on bad tables so that i can get on the good ones.

I laugh at the nits playing 24 tables that stay on the same table infested with regs for hours on end.

LoL. Almost forgot about that hand but was glad I could get my beat with quads badge at 2nl instead of higher

If you mean a bad beat jackpot, then no stars doesn't have one.

So I broke down last night and I gave it a try. I 8-10 tabled nl10 FR.

Played like an uber nit and it felt so weird... Dont know my exact stats but I think I was up 3BI over ~1000 hands in like 1.5-2 hrs of playing. Still didn't need to use table ninja, but will likely use it when I add more tables. And you know, because of the added tables, you hardly notice that you are playing that much tighter.

Bowlboy, do you tile/cascade/stack your tables?

On a side note, anyone else see that kidpoker was mass grinding the $1.75 sngs last night? LOL

NL10 is pretty soft these days on Stars. I had a horrible week at NL25 - which btw is also soft but I just ran like poo - and played a little NL10 and made like 4BI in an hour as well 24 tabling.

I stack my tables. I used to tile a couple of years ago but started stacking when I got my laptop. I was in a long distance relationship and spending weekends at my gf's so needed to be able to grind a little while at her place.

If I only played 10 tables I'd be running super lag. I usually run around 15vpip while 24 tabling which isn't nitty for fullring. You see a lot of guys that tight at 6max.

I used to stack tables when I was playin 12 x $2-180 turbo sngs. Found it hard to shove and just move on to the next one. I always want to know if I made a good shove, or not. Maybe its a bit results oriented, but its not like I care if I win by the river or not, just want to see what opp shows up with.

With cash, its even more like that. I'm new to cash too, so Im not 100% confident in a lot of spots that some people would be im sure.

My vpip was close to 15 I believe. PFR of like 10-12 iirc. small sample though. I found a lot of guys playing even more nitty than me. Used your style of tagging people with colours and leaving table once its too nitty. Worked good. Im usually not one to bumhunt, but thats going to change!

Lookin forward to this video... Where's yoda, he's due for one too, no?

I believe I convinced Yoda to do a video on use and interpretation of huds during gameplay and using the resources of poker tracking software post game. Looking forward to seeing this if he's able to do it.

If you guys would like I could make my video focusing on exploiting players based on different stats. I keep around 14 stats on screen so its a big part of my game for sure.
