Very deep stack 1/2NL Live! How to induce action.

1/2NL, Live... 100 max buyin...

This is the deepest stack table I've ever played. I don't have much experience playing very deep....

I need to learn how to get more action from big stacks.. I made money but it was all from bad plays donking off their short stacks... I couldn't induce action from deep stack players to donk their stacks off...

9AM sit down with 100, notice there are 2 stacks bigger than 700 at the table.. excellent...
11AM Up to 200 still no action from the big stacks.
1 PM up to 400 still not big stack action
3 PM up to 600 still no action from the big stacks...
5 PM up to 1000, I'm in seat 3, seat 2 has 700,seat 6 has 500 seat 9 is a super lag with 800, seat 10 has 750.. still no action from the big stacks..
7 PM up to 1300, still no action from the big stacks.. seat 5 sits down with 500....
I go on a break till 9 PM...
10 PM ... give up and move to another table...
1 AM cash out 1596 ...

I played quite loose and LAGtard against the big stacks preflop and to a lesser extent on the flop ... but they wouldn't donk off when the bets got big. ...

So, I'm looking for tips on playing very deep > 200big blinds... Ideas ...

They're probably deep because they're playing half decently and are not going to change things up.

I'd suggest raising from the button and cutoff with any two, then show some garbage. Also, you could maybe three bet the deep players preflop in position.

Why do you need action from them?.......you're making a killing against the short stacks. I would stick to what got you +$1400

these big stacks must be doing something to maintain their stacks; are they only playing against smaller stacks at the table? are they checking down hands against other regulars/large stacks? not sure how you could build such an impressive stack without getting some of the other larger stack's chips. Must have been a huge turnover of players at this table.

Sometimes I find when you sit at a table long enough, there is almost an unspoken (or assumed) agreement that the larger stacks will not get in each others way; then you have the other seats at the table that get filled by a new player, they get eliminated by a big stack and the process continues, over and over. Almost like the natural order. Its interesting when you are at a poker table all day and there are a few other players that have been with you throughout your session. Then throughout the day the table is filled by small stacks or inexperienced (or unlucky) players that proceed through a revolving door. Then when a new player arrives at the table, all the big stacks just smile and say 'welcome'

Yeah it was a revolving door of very bad players coming in and dropping off $100 and leaving... That's how I built my stack.. just playing the bad players... The big stacks would usually just stay away from me... Even after I showed a bluff with 5 high..
