So the stakers give you $150.. Does that mean you are only staked for $150/$5 Sng = 30 Sit and Goes? Or until your entry losses accumulate to $150?

keep going till you spent the 150 bucks, i am actually playing 2-6 dollar buy in's with it, sit n go's and mtt's within that buy in range.

The whole staking industry pretty much never passed my basic common sense test. Not sure this thread changed that much :P

So wait.. Do you mean that the average internet player isn't better than the average internet player?

Now.. If it was the pokerrooms staking these players, it's genious. You make the money back in rake and provide opponents for your non-staked players.

Staking makes sense if you stake someone with a proven track record over a large sample. My friend gets staked for $500-$10000 MTTs while bankrolling himself for all the smaller games. I believe the standard is 60/40 with makeup.

However, bankrolling someone with no track record seems ridiculous.
