Well, hookers and blow could be an option. Just check with your significant other first. Could hasten a spontaneous non-anaesthetic amputation of certain nether region appendages.
As we both know, you're in the right place for info gathering about cheap flights/hotel deals. So just sit back in that easy/rocking chair and wait for the advice to come flowing in like lactose free milk substitute over bran flakes.

lol, well I might have been there a time or two before, so I have an idea where to look... Actually Southwest out of Buffalo at $310. and Spirit out of Detroit at $250. are the frontrunners at the moment. Both are more than I have paid in the last 4-5 years.. No real deals currently...
Congrats. While the small restricted events such as the Seniors and Casino Employees Events are the least -EV WSOP events for Canadians to buy into, I would personally use that money to buy into a CPT, WPT NAPC, EPT, LAPT, WPS or any other tax-free tournament outside of the US. Good luck!

Well I would hardly call the Seniors event small, last years had 2200 or so entries.. And I may not have that many more chances to play in the WSOP. I understand your feelings about the withholding taxes but my primary purpose is not to get rich like some of you young kids. I actually play for the enjoyment and challenge, and kick some butt as well... lol.. Now of course if I wasn't at least covering my costs I wouldn't play as much but I've gotten to the point now where I really feel I'm a contender in any tournament I play... So actually, all things considered, I don't think it's -ev for me to play tournament poker in the US at all...
By the way, how did you do in Bellwood cash game?
