York Region Poker League, Pre-Season: 1 Tournament: 2 Friday, November 6th, 2009, 7pm sharp.
Tournament starts at 7 pm sharp, registration open at 6 pm
Open to both Men and Women age 19 and over. York Region Poker League, Pre-Season: 1 Tournament: 2 - York Region Poker League (Newmarket, ON) - Meetup.com
York Region Poker League will be operated as an alcohol free, non-profit group with an emphasis toward charity fundraising.
Buy-In: $50 (all buy-ins go to the prize pool)
Starting Chips: 3,000 (5,000 with the two options listed below)
Limited to the first 60 entries.
Format: No Limit Hold'em - Freeze-Out after first 60 min.
Re-Buys: Limited to one only (during first 60 min.)
Re-Buy: $50.00 for 3,000 chips (all re-buys go to the prize pool).
Prize Pool: Top 10% of players paid from total prize pool.)
Blind Levels: 20 minutes, see "Friday -YRPL Blinds Schedule" under the Files
section for more details.
For Tournament Rules see the Files section, we play by TDA rules and Roberts Rules of Poker.
Players have the option (not mandatory) of donating $10.00 to go toward
paying for the, hall, tables, chips, cards, audio visual equipment, website,
etc. As a bonus for this donation, you will receive 1,000 in playing chips.
Players have the option (not mandatory) of donating $10.00 to "The Canadian Diabetes Association". As a bonus for this donation, you will receive 1,000 in playing chips.
With the two above options, the starting stack will be 5,000 playing chips.
The blinds are designed to end the game at 1:00 am. The game will be called (ended) at 1:00am. If not finished, the remaining pot will be split based on stack size, most chips wins.
