This will be interesting.......running the same event with different number at 3 different casinos for a few of the tourney's.

Could be a shitty table move if they make you change casinos.

That is 198k prizepool right?

Think I will come in and try to sat. into this on thurs. 26th...(I am guessing the thursday sat. is for this tourney) ....if I don't sat in, I will play the 550 on Saturday instead. Where should I play it?

I will point that typo out. it's either 189 max players or 198k prize pool. This is all preliminary info, but I am getting clarity and should get blinds structures etc, soon.

From what I understand the sats will work like this: for every 10 players in the $180, one person will get a $1100 seat, one a $550. For every 10 players in the $300 one will get a ME $2200 seat, one a $550. The difference/balance not sure if it will make an extra seat or be the bubble payout or added to the top prize, depends on entries I suppose.

As for which casino to play? IMO, Deerfoot tends to be the softest overall, which is why you will always find a few of the best to contend with as well. The Cash Casino usually has aggressive players, always a laggy game, but with that said it is the most profitable place to play for a good player. Most of the guys who have made it big, started there and had there first big win there. The Grey Eagle is my personal favorite, but only because it is the newest. Nice Room, you can smoke in the casino, but not in the poker room of course. The bathrooms are a bit of a jaunt. Overall, it would be the most balanced field I think, but the toughest only because al ot of players that have been around are playing there. That is both a good and a bad thing though.

You bust out of one, should be able to make the start of the next one too.

The $550's are good. Nice pots and fields.

My thoughts are to go to the biggest player pool, increase your chances of having a big stack...chipleader not likely to be coming from Deerfoot due to the short field there.

Do you always have to make sense? Good call. But the Deerfoot has the largest field for the events, yet the smallest field for Sat.'s I will look at my dates for the end of summer and decide which set of tourneys to play..the 19-22 or the 26-28

Liked the discussion and asked for feedback from Ron. So Day ones will not play down to 10%. They will go 8 or 9 levels then merge for day 2, so the stacks shouldn't be hugely unbalanced.

COPC Satellites
Satellites - Aug 19th $180 buy-in - 1 $1100 buy-in and 1 $550 buy for every 10 satellites players.
Satellites - Aug 19th $300 buy-in - 1 $2200 buy-in and 1 $550 buy for every 10 satellites players.
***The bigger prizes are awarded first, then secondary seats, and finally remaining cash.

August 28th
Day 2 of $2200 NLH Championship is at Deerfoot - approximately 100 players and Day 1 of $550 at Deerfoot approx 200 players.

If anyone has more questions feel free to ask.

We are almost done building a landing page where structures and the likes are going, along with deals available for hotel, travel etc.

I was told there will be CPT satellites online including PartyPoker. When will they start?

What the hell does this Kelly guy know anyway The CPT has to follow the gaming regulations and does not have any online affiliations for this event.

Of course, much like the RIO having no relationships with the major sites, that doesn't mean people aren't going to notice that this will be the most awesome series evvvver and decide to put together packages.

If I hear of any of these poker brokers of sorts I will be sure to let you know.
