Not that it matters as its completely booked.
The hotel is blacked out online as it is saved for CPT players..have to call them from my understanding.

Hopefully meet some people there!
Quite a few players stay here, is nice and close to night life, down town and decent to all 3 hosting venues.

Deerfoot Inn is the best option to stay at, especially if you can share a room. Most of the action will be there.

There is basically no cost to pre register. They only reserve your seat and charge your CC the reg. fee (ie $100 on the 1K). You can cancel anytime, and if you dont cancel and dont show up, you just lose the fee.

PM me if ur going. Am leaving from Toronto on the 20th.

I'll take 10% of these 3 if you're selling.

I may play the 220 or 330 -- if I play one or both what %age are you willing to swap?

The events with smaller caps will most likely sell out. The more people that pre register the better we can balance venues too. We have sold out many $550 events and places like Regina nad Edmonton almost always break 200 in the $1100's. Considering the hype and the fact this is the largest series yet, I am very confident many of the events will cap, if not all. We had 378 last year in the $550 in Regina, 240 last year in the $550 at the Open, the numbers for sell out are realistic. Most of the players in the 5k will play the $2200, so that should fill nicely too.

So yes, pls pre-register if it is not a problem and thanks for the interest!

Is there anyway to check if the prereg was successful?

I guess I could wait for a couple days to see if they bill my CC, but I did not receive a confirmation email (even though Im pretty sure everything went through OK)

No. You won't be charged if you are in another event. There will be a bit of admin work after the series to sort through unique situations and check names, but the no shows are the only ones that will be billed. Just checked with CEO. There will be CPT staff around and the Casino's can let us know if anyone tells them to pass on this type of thing.

Jon - Is Event #7 (The Tuesday tournament) a $330 or a $550?

Not that it matters, but there is conflicting information listed on the website.
