| B&M low buy in SNG's single table. I'm a newb!
Newb question. Sorry if its a repeat.
Single table B&M sng's.
I am having a hard time online researching whether Casino's around Toronto still have small buy in single table sng's. Casino Niagara used to have $35 ones. My buddy is getting married and instead of a stag, he wants the guys to head out to a casino for some tournament action.
Does Rama, Niagara, Brantford, Seneca etc... have anything like this? What's it like? Where, when, how much.
Thank you so much.

Hey, Niagara still has the $35 dollar sit n goes. They are running them from 1pm to 3am on Monday, Tuesday's and Wednesdays.
1000 chips to start, blinds are crazy, 25-50, 50-100, 100 - 200 (25 chip ante), 200 - 400, 400 - 800. The tourny is done within an hour, not alot of play, 11 players to a table.

labeach | Wow. That is like 50 hands. Very possible to be dry for 50 hands.

I'm not to concerned about structure of the tournament. I just need something for 10 to 30 guys in the course of an evening. I understand they have to get through the tourneys quickly to reduce the waiting time for the next group. No fold'em hold'em strategy kicks in quickly i would imagine. Too bad there is nothing on a Fri/Sat... May have to do it in a local bar. Anything going on around Hamilton? Thanks guys.

Senaca has better tournaments and free booze, but any Canadian is subject to 30% withholding tax on tournament winnings.

Is that 30% of anything? I thought it would only be like a few thousand or more. Oh well, I`ve seen these guys drink. It`ll probably even out.

I've only been there once, but I think I had a good time. (Like I said, free booze) Played only 1-2NL, but they were running a bunch of games.

Blue Heron, $110 sng's were being run last night. 1500 chips, blinds start at 25-50, increase after each orbit. The one tourney I saw played for about 75 min.

I do know of some NLHE tourneys that come up about twice a year. I think they usually get about 50 guys, $100 each. I've never gone because my kids keep me busy but if anyone is interested, they can PM me and I'll put em on a list for the next tournament and let em know the details when they come to me.

sadly, i don't think there's any action in the hammer. | So I guess with that structure, when you get a good hand, announce "Raise!",
look down at your chips, and then announce "Gee, I guess I'm all in."
