Yeah, they use to have it in their rules link. It's long gone - I think they removed it quite awhile ago before the new website 'look' was implemented last year.

$550 specifically. Was thinking of running rake free satellites.

Cool. I'd be up for that. I used to run those from time to time. I used the structure from the brantford $130 satellite tho, as I found it to be a better fit for the situation. Only difference was I added a 75/150 level - I found 25/50, 50/100, 100/200 to be a little aggro.
I'm pretty sure I still have the structure in a spreadsheet on my desktop at home if you want it.

No prob man. I ended up finding one from a few years ago online. Don't know if it's the same one they use now but gives me a general idea. I'll probably tweak it a bit anyway.

so if i ran some sats, would you guys be interested in just straight up regular $550 for the winner(s) only or would you prefer equity sats?

if yes to equity sats, what is a reasonable amount to withhold and how should it be distributed?

for example, 1% or 2% to each "losing" entrant equally (with winner(s) keeping 92% or 84% of themselves) or maybe something like 20% from each winner divvied up based on finishing positions (with winner(s) keeping 80% of themselves).

    let's assume max of 10 players x $110 buyin = 2 $550 seats awarded.

idk, just throwing some ideas out there.

I'm not a fan of equity. Straight up is good for me.

I do like the idea of having a rooting interest in the winner of the satellite.
For example, the winner of the $550 typically gets ~$14k. If I want to win $100 as a satellite participant, that would be 12% going back to the non-winners.
