I plan on playing NL only for the next little while at my local casino... Buy-in is min 100 max 500... the wife has moved up to 5-10 now and I don't want to get run down by her!! (see...Wife may be better than me!) I had reasonable success at this game last summer, but plan to put more time and energy into it this year!!

NL live game Blinds 2-5....

Hand 1: In the cutoff, one EP limper (loose maniac), rest fold, I raise to $20 wtih K :spade: T :spade: , and the BB and maniac call. (I have a fairly semi-tight aggressive image) FLOP: K :diamond: 5 :club: 2 :club: ... checked to me... I bet out $50 and get called by both ... TURN:K :club: BB pushes all-in for $85 more... maniac calls... What do you do? Maniac has about $600 more in front of him and barely has me covered.

Hand 2: UTG with 2 :heart: 2 :diamond: I make it $20... 2 callers, a super-tight player and a loose-aggressive player. FLOP:2 :club: J :diamond: Q :heart: I lead out with $50 again, tighty folds but loosey calls... TURN: T :club: ... What do you do? Loosey has only $125 in front of him, I have about $600.

For hand 1, I wouldn't raise pre-flop but that's probably a style issue. The rest of the hand is a nightmare. I guess it depends more on Psychology at this point.

For hand 2, push out 50 bucks again, see what Loosey does.

That is my noob perspective.
